Luck Magnet Girl
Little Alodia had a tough start. At just five years old, she was stuck living with her mean aunt Rhea who only cared about boys. Life was lonely until she met Jade, the fiery widow everyone in Loess Village talked about. A funny thing happened after Jade took Alodia in. Suddenly, Jade's struggling herb business took off. Bills got paid. Good things just kept happening. Turns out the quiet little girl was what folks called a "luck magnet" - where she went, fortune followed. Of course, nasty aunt Rhea came sniffing around when she heard. The village chief, Larry Greene, heard the rumors, trying to take Alodia back. But Jade wasn't having it. With help from folks like Osmond and the neighbors, they showed Rhea for the cruel woman she was. In the end, Jade got to keep her lucky little girl, proving sometimes the family you choose is better than the one you're born into.
